It's a Ford thing. Recently replaced one of teh Fusion's tires cause it had 2 bubbles at 18k.

I've saw this happen earlier this winter on a buddy's car with Altimax Arctics....Sad to see. These tires as they are great in Ice, slush and deep snow. Might switch back to the Pirelli winter carvers if this keeps happening to other people.

Jayhawk isn't Ford enough for an ST. He should however paint his sonic blue and paint the front wheels white and rear wheels red. Then he can drive sonic the hatchback.

I hear you, Honestly the altimaxs have as much or more traction then those... just it seems their sidewalls are up to the task. I'm running the Alitimax artics this winter my my wife's Jetta, and my STi, they are a great tire when it's slippery.

nice. I did the same almost exactly a year ago but on stockers with the Goodyear summers. Ruined a belt inside the tire , my alignment and the wheel. I FUCKING love winter.
